Our film is South Asia and LGBTQ forward - almost all of our cast and a major portion of our crew is of South Asian descent.

We are hoping to raise the finances in the next couple of months and want to have the film ready by fall/winter - for the 2024 festival season.

We aim to target major film festivals for the premiere (Sundance, Cannes, Berlin, Venice and BFI for their 2024 cycle). Whichever major festival the film gets into (fingers crossed) will be the first place it will be screened - following which it will be sent to other major short film, South Asia forward and LGBTQ forward festivals.

We are confident that with Mehreen's formidable portfolio and repertoire, and with the celebrated Mira Nair on board - we will be able to get the film noticed in major film circles. This also means that any collaborator or financier will also get significant visibility.

All major contributors (50% of the film’s budget) will get major billing on all our publicity and film materials alongside the other Executive Producers. All major contributors will be highlighted at all festivals and public screenings. All major contributors will have equity in the film — and thereby a commensurate stake in any revenue generated by the film.

All distinguished contributors (5K) will get an Associate Producer billing in the film credits and publicity material. All distinguished contributors will be invited to a special private screening of the film with the film’s team, producers and cast in attendance.
