Shakeel, a Pakistani grand-father in his early 70s decides it's time to take the first step… out of the closet.

synopsis

Shakeel is a Pakistani grandfather who moved in with his son's family in a cramped apartment in Jackson Heights after the death of his wife.

He has a mysterious evening plan that he hasn't shared with his family. He lies to his son about where he is going, buys a new jacket and gets a haircut. He carries a flier in his pocket that he occasionally looks at.
